I really want to start focusing on happy stuff but, i couldnt think of anything and got really down this past week for some reason, when that happens i get thrust back to my most unhappy time, so i did an exaggerated version of a familiar scene from my past, yeh im such a downer, no?

hey all, we had a bit of an interesting weekend, i got a few interesting shots and wanted to share them. plus my email wouldnt send mawd the pics so this update is for him because his stupid yahoo email couldnt take the size of my files.....lol

this is for an alter ego portrait, i believe that life is an illusion and i am the magician, get you going in one direction and full u in the other. I chose to structure the images in a balancing composition rather than a flat out narrative order. this is feel leaves the piece balanced yet unresolved, what i here most about it is that the middle image is haunting or can be. Is the figure hanging there or taking off because he is finally free? I choose to leave the question open ended and let the viewer decide. This, i beleive leaves some uneasy feelings but atleast it made u feel something, comment if u dare lol please do!!

Weekend with Family...

Jus spent a few days with family in Orlando and had a pretty good time. There was a moment where i decided to take apicture of my Grandpa, the light was even the best or the circumstances didnt really scream take a picture of this, but all of a sudden i elt this moment needed to be recorded. I took the shot and starred to edit and decided it need to have a more aetheral look to it, something beyond what is usually seen by the untrained eye. So i decide this glass of water should play more of an importance in the scene, it could be the water of life or some sort of modern day magical potion but the real reason i had to edit it this way was something even beyond my own personal reasoning, the most interesting part is that they next day we all opened presents and my Aunts gave my Papa a lantern, a device to illuminate his world when it was dark to shed light on his life and possibly drastically change his circumstances, or it was as my brother explains in a way i didnt think about, Its that "Coinsidence is merely probability realized" i see it as something more in tune with everyones energy to the clairvointe state of possible pyschic ability, but who is to say that there is even a difference in the explanations?

A flash of light thats letting go....

I am utterly fascinating with the idea of perception over sight and cant decide whether one is more important than the other or if both exist. Try to comprehend light and seeing, actually what ever you do DONT try to comprehend sight or luminosity because you can blind yourself from and be stuck in ur own world 24/7 or are you already there?
I talk in circle and loop around the same notion, What i see a beautiful and magnificent another can find putrid and vial, ive given my self a headache racking my brain in analytcal thought and the final destination is that living in the current moment is the only possible way to not drive your self eternally insane. so the choice is whether u choose not to analyze and live in ignorance? The blades came over again and this existential blender continues to mesh our brains a pulp, drink it down a digest your own thoughts from an out side perspective and maybe an answer will arrive, but do u really want the questions to be answered?

Those Lights...in the sky!!

The moon will not look like this for a couple decades you can see venus and something else shining brighter than usaul. Its an awkward merge but i think it describes the scene and the time in which i shot it. Enjoy!!

dare we drink from the black water?

or shall we drown in the white air?

or shall we figure out a way to combine the two and make the spirits rain down apon our body, energizing us with the knowledge un fathomable until this storm arose
Danny:
for sometimes the calm is the turbulent and the breaking of the fog the truth, for when celestial figures align
will we still be who once were

maybe when the planet align and the moon is at its brightest we see the the past the present and the future mean nothing with out someone to share them with
planets**
what does it matter who we are, if there is know one to agree that we are what we have become, if there is no one present to see an individual progress is there ever really a development of character?

if we rely upon others to confirm our beliefs in who we are than is there really and indivduality?
